GIVEAWAY time :: Surprise Valentine!

Well, it's February.. it's a Monday.. and it's cloudy and cold outside.  So to chase away these Monday blahs, I decided to have a giveaway, just in time for Valentine's Day!

Do you know of someone special without a Valentine this year?  Are you someone special without a Valentine this year?  Then here's a treat for you or the someone you're thinking of.  Enter to win your choice of the Heart necklace or the Romance necklace from Daily Dose, my new line of limited edition pieces.  It will be sent directly to the nominated person, a little surprise that I hope to brighten their day. :)

Romance

Here are the RULES:
Nominate someone you know who is without a Valentine this year (or are far from their Valentine this year) and tell me a little bit about why you're nominating this person.  You can nominate as many people as you'd like.

and/or

Nominate yourself if you're without or are far from your Valentine this year, and tell me a little bit about yourself.  Don't be shy!  We all need to treat ourselves once in a while. :)

Please leave a SEPARATE comment for EACH nomination (makes it easier for me, thanks!).  And don't forget to leave some sort of contact info (email or etsy shop is fine) so I can reach you if you're a winner.

That's it!

I'll personally pick TWO WINNERS (one self-nomination and one friend-nomination).  Winners will be announced here next Monday Feb. 08, so you have one week to enter!  What are you waiting for?  Help make someone's Valentine's Day a little more special.  :)

What a lovely giveaway! Thanks so much for the opportunity.

I'd like to nominate my Mom, Kathy, who has been without a Valentine since I was a kid. She's been an awesome parent and has worked very hard to support my siblings and I. We've had a number of deaths in our family this year, and it's been hard on my Mom not to have a life partner to help her, but nevertheless, she's still always there, helping out when she can, being a shoulder for whomever needs one, supporting the rest of us and just generally being a being a great parent and grandparent.

I'd like to nominate my dear friend Rhonda. She is getting a divorce from her husband and it all happened during Christmas. So Rhonda had no holiday to speak of and will be without a Valentine. I think your lovely Romance necklace would give her some hope for love again.
This is a wonderful thing that you are doing!! xoxo

I'd love to nominate one of my greatest friends, Lauren. We've known each other since we were 5 or 6. She has the biggest heart in the world would do anything for the ones she loves. She has worked her way thru school, currently completing her Doctor of Psychology degree, and had put all her focus into achieving her professional goals. I only hope one day she finds the man she deserves and who deserves her.

Ngan, these necklaces are beautiful and 2 lucky and deserving women are going to just love them!

I'd like to nominate my mom. She and my father have been married for 47 years. Six years ago, my father became seriously ill and had to close his practice. As much as my mom and family tried to care for him, we were unable and had to put him in a convalescent home. It broke our hearts as my father was the rock of our family. While my father is still alive (thankfully), my mom has had to learn to live on her own and to care for herself financially. It's been a tough road, but like many moms, she's strong and determined. She inspires me so much as she never held her head down. Instead, she always kept it up and carried on for the sake of her children. I would love for her to have one of your lovely heart necklaces to show her how much she's loved.

Thanks for such a nice giveaway.
